Ú presented the ú project and how the school's collections can be a resource for genealogy and local history research at the World Congress of the Irish Diaspora (Congress) at University College Dublin in September. ó Will attend the International Symposium on the Terminology Course ( ) in Bangor in June and will gain insight into the terminology and vocabulary resources available in Irish.

Irish National Heritage Week is held within the framework of European Heritage Days, a joint initiative of the European Commission and the European Union, with more than forty countries taking part in these Heritage Days each year.
